Q. Companies are going bust left right and centre. Can you guarantee my money is safe when booking a stag, hen or group weekend with yourselves ?.
A. The simple answer is YES. All monies paid for any stag, hen or group weekend package is bonded just like ATOL or ABTA. Your money is 100% safe and guaranteed at all times. If you need further clarification on this please speak to our group bookings office on 0844 500 3555 from 10am until 10pm daily.
Q. We are coming on a coach so can your car park accommodate such a veichle ?.
A. Unfortunatly we cant accommodate coaches in the hotel car park. However there is a local Coach Car Park close to the hotel.
Q. I see you do hen & stag packages but how come they are cheaper than everyone else ?.
A. We don't pay commission to sales agents or telephone operators due to our in-house admin team and local connections. We can 99.9% of times beat any deal offered by other companies.
Q. I see you have a 24/7 bar at the hotel during weekends. What is the cost of an average pint or shot?.
A. We pride ourselves at St Micks with honest and decent pricing. You'll be able to grab a pint or shot in our hotel CHEAPER than most places in town. We also do any DOUBLE Smirnoff, Bells or Gordons for just £2.80. In addition to this bottle beer's start from £1.90 and alcopops from £1.70!.
Q. How central is St Micks to everything that's happening ?.
A. If you leave the hotel's main entrance and walk 5 mins to the right then you've hit the town centre. Likewise if you turn left then within 5 mins your on the beach. We are central to everything in Bournemouth thats why St Micks is always an ideal choice of venue.
Q. I have read a few reviews on the internet about your hotel, can you clarify these ?
A. Sure, during weekends as you may of gathered we cater for hen & stag parties (9,000+ party animals in 2009). Some of these group's felt it necessary to cause unacceptable damage to the hotel during their stay. We of course charge for damages, and as a result people alter their perception of our hotel after recieving a hefty credit card bill for damaged items.
Q.Can you stock the bar with our favourite drink ?
A. No problem if you have a specific request then drop us an e-mail and we'll source your favourite drink before your arrival.
Q.Can we use the VIP wristbands on Friday and Saturday night or just One only ?
A. The VIP wrist bands are valid for Friday & Saturday Nights for the £5 fee. If your party contains a large number of guest's (over 12) we recommend entry in smaller groups (i.e. 6 MAX at a time).
Q.Do you have Hen & Stag parties all week ?
A. No. The hotel accommodates Hen & Stags at weekends only. During Sundays's - Thursday inclusive we operate as a standard hotel.
Q.What's the policy on guest behaviour ?
A. We expect everyone to behave like responsible adults at all times during any stay with us. If you or your other guests activate fire alarms, deliberately cause damage or play with fire extinguishers then we will ask you to leave with no refund given.
Q.We want to stitch up the Hen or Stag with something unusual. Can you help us with this ?
A. Yes we can and have arranged many un-usual requests by both Hen and Stag parties. Just drop us an e-mail for assistance and we'll help you. Please remember its has to be legal !.
Q.Do you have CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) within the hotel ?
A. Yes we have over 24 CCTV cameras in all public areas that record 24/7.
Q.Do you have a Jukebox in the Bar ?, and what's the cost ?
A. Yes we have a Warfdale Jukebox in the bar with over 1000 tracks available. The cost is 30p per play, 50p for Two tracks and £1 for 5 Tracks of your choice.
Q.Do you have a Car Park?, if so how many spaces ?
A. Yes we have a car park located at the rear of the hotel. that can fit 15 cars. Unfortunatly spaces can not be reserved and are available on a First come First served basis.
Q. If the hotel car park is full where can I park ?
A. The roads around St Micks hotel are FREE 24/7 parking and there are plenty of roads available.
Q. Can I get a hightop minibus in the car park ?
A. Unfortunatly not as we have a height restriction bar in place. However if you have a standard (non-high top) Merc or Ford transit mini bus this will fit under the bar with no problem.
Q. Do I have to pay to park at the hotel ?
A. Unlike other hotels in our area we dont charge for car parking.
Q. We want to hire a stripper is this allowed in the hotel ?
A. We dont have any problems with you supplying your own stripper/s. Inform us in advance and we'll supply a private area for you and your guest's to enjoy the show.
Q. We require access to a strip club can you help ?
A. No problem as we have private arrangements with the local strip bars. Just drop us an e-mail and we'll arrange VIP access for you FREE of charge (Normally £5 per person).
Q. My hen partie requires a makeover / photo shoot or hair and nails being done before we go out, can you help ?
A. No problem we can arrange a full make over, hair and nails to be done at St Micks when your ready. Please drop us an e-mail for more details and cost's.
Q. Do I have to pay to use the Pool table ?
A. Unfortunatly yes but its just 50p a game.
Q. Whats the dress code for Bournemouth night clubs / venues ?
A. Smart Casual with shoes. No trainers are allowed in the clubs.
Q. How far away is the train / coach / bus station ?
A. The Bournemouth Travel Interchange is approx 2 miles away. Taking a taxi will cost you approx £6.10. We would recommend using Star Radio Cars on 01202 391919. All hotel guests get an automatic 10% discount.
Q. I need to arrange transport to a booked venue can you help ?
A. No problem we use tried and tested companies than can transport any number from 4 to 60 people. Just ask us for details and prices.
Q. Do you have internet access ?
A. Yes we have internet access available via WiFi in all public areas of the hotel, and its FREE.
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Yes we welcome well trained dogs.
Q. What are Check In & Out times?
A. You can check in from 3pm until 10pm anyday. Checkout is by 11am on the departure day. Guest's that wish to check in or out outside the above times need to contact the hotel.
Q. Can we bring our own booze ?
A. Unfortunatly not as we are a fully licenced premises. It's against the law to bring your own booze into the hotel for consumption. Due to strict rules in force by the local licencing officer we do have to confiscate any items and return them on your departure.
Q. Supposing we bring our own booze, what happnes then ?
A. We are a licenced premises so we would have no choice but to request you and your party leave the building. In this instance no refund wil be given for your stay.
Q. Do I have to pay for access to the leisure suite ?
A. No access to the leisure suite is FREE for all guests residing in the hotel.
Q. I am not staying at the hotel but can I pay to use the leisure suite ?
A. Unfortunatly our leisure suite facilities are for guests only.
Q. Do you allow smoking in the hotel ?
A. The hotel operates a No smoking policy throughout and its not permitted by anyone anytime. Anyone caught smoking in the hotel will result in you and your party leaving the building. In this instance no refund wil be given for your stay.
Q. What the policy on drugs ?
A. Drugs are not permitted in the hotel unless they are legal. Anyone caught using illegal drugs in the hotel will be removed and no re-fund will be given.
Q. Can I bring someone back with me to the hotel ?
A. We dont mind guests bringing friends back but you must inform a member of staff.
Q. Supposing one of my group looses the key or does not come back with me ?
A. Dont worry we are on site 24hrs a day to let you back into your room just incase you loose your m8's in town. We offer a service to hand your room key into a member of staff who is on duty 24hrs however If you loose a key then we do charge £50 so keep it safe!..
Q. I forgot to pack my phone charger can you help ?
A. The hotel does carry a vast range of mobile phone charges that you can borrow. We dont guarantee to have every single one but we do have quite a few.
Q. I am having to organise my m8's hen or stag weekend can anyone at the hotel help me ?
A. Yes we have trained people who have been in the business for years and specalise in this. Just call us on 0844 500 3555 from 10am until 10pm anyday.
Q. I want to book your function room for my party. Do you have a DJ or must I get one ?
A. We do have our own resident DJ who can assist you from a disco to live music. Please contact us for more details.
Q. Do you have any age limits on parties at the hotel ?
A. Yes we dont allow any private hire parties with people under the age of 25 unless a ratio of 10 guests to 1 adult (over 35) are present. This does NOT apply to Hen or Stag weekends who book with us direct.
Q. I am going to book your function room for a party but can I bring my own food ?
A. We welcome anyone who uses the function room for a party or meeting to supply their own food.
